Nature of Services
BetterYOUSA connects you with trained and registered South African professionals for personal development, emotional support, life coaching, career guidance, relationship support, and general wellness. These services are not clinical mental health treatment, psychotherapy, psychiatric care, or medical services.
Wellness Professional Qualifications
BetterYOUSA wellness professionals are registered with recognized South African professional bodies such as the HPCSA or ASCHP. They are not licensed mental health providers in the United States. They will not provide clinical diagnoses, treatment plans, or medication management.
Not a Substitute for Emergency Care
BetterYOUSA is not an emergency service. If you are experiencing a mental health crisis, suicidal thoughts, or thoughts of harming yourself or others, please call 911, contact the 988 Suicide and Crisis Lifeline (call or text 988), or go to your nearest emergency room. Confidentiality
Information shared during sessions is kept confidential except when required by law, when necessary to prevent imminent harm, or when abuse or neglect of a minor or vulnerable adult is suspected.
Cross-Border Data
Your personal information will be shared with your wellness professional who is located in South Africa. By proceeding, you consent to this international transfer of your information.
No Guaranteed Outcomes
BetterYOUSA does not guarantee specific outcomes or results from any session.
Cancellation Policy
Cancellations more than 24 hours before a session receive a full refund. Cancellations less than 24 hours before a session or no-shows are not refundable.
